SEO Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic and bright SEO Executive to join our friendly digital marketing team. We manage all aspects of the business, making this an exciting opportunity with the prospect of excellent career progression within the company. The right applicant should be self-motivated, ambitious, articulate and above all, eager to learn. The ideal candidate should have in-depth hands-on experience in SEO with a keen interest to apply their skills and develop their expertise.

You will be involved in a range of stimulating SEO activities. You will be responsible for helping to grow our organic visibility and traffic by leveraging a deep understanding of both off-page and on-page SEO best practises. You will work closely within the fast-growing digital marketing team, where the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively is essential.

Our bright and friendly offices, with spectacular views of the city, are based in Central London (WC1X) - within walking distance from various underground and train stations such as Russell Square, Chancery Lane, Kings Cross, and Farringdon.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Daily management of SEO practises
  • Competitor analysis
  • Conducting off-page and on-page SEO tasks as part of a short and long-term growth strategy
  • Co-ordinating and executing press releases
  • Working on building and enhancing site trustworthiness and authority
  • Ensuring Google SEO best practises are followed
  • Leveraging SEO data and reports to identify areas of organic growth
  • Identifying new ways to improve our organic rankings and site visibility
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of search engine optimisation best practices and organic ranking algorithms

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A strong background in SEO with 2+ years’ hands-on experience (required)
  • A keen interest in SEO, digital marketing and search engine marketing
  • In depth knowledge of how Google ranks content
  • Deep understanding of keywords, search terms and intent
  • Experience writing compelling written content
  • Experience implementing SEO strategy and practises
  • Have an exceptionally high standard of English and grammar
  • Passionate about attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards throughout your work
  • Excellent analytical skills to help evaluate our organic search performance
  • The ability to work closely and collaboratively with other team members
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Is articulate, analytical and methodical
  • Is results-driven and highly motivated with a problem-solving attitude
  • Has a high level of organisation and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
  • Has a solid team spirit and strong work ethic
  • Is proactive and enthusiastic
