What is Loceryl Nail Lacquer?
Loceryl is an antifungal nail lacquer used specifically to treat fungal infections in nails. Its formulation contains amorolfine hydrochloride, an active ingredient that effectively inhibits the growth of a wide range of fungi, effectively combating the infection.
What is a fungal nail infection?
Fungal nail infections occur when the conditions are right for naturally-occurring fungi to overpopulate, typically in warm and moist environments. This may occur when the feet are hot and sweaty in shoes, if you walk barefoot in commonly infected areas such as locker rooms or communal showers, or if you have a weakened immune system. The result of fungal nail infections can include nail discolouration, thickening or distortion of the nail, nail pain when pressure is applied, and fragile or brittle nails.
How does Loceryl Nail Lacquer work?
Loceryl nail lacquer kit is an effective solution for nail fungus as it actively eliminates the fungal pathogens responsible for the infection. This antifungal nail lacquer creates a protective and waterproof film on the nail's surface. Its active ingredient, amorolfine, deeply penetrates the nail to target and eradicate the fungus in the nail bed.
How effective is Loceryl Nail Lacquer Kit?
Continue to use the Loceryl nail lacquer kit treatment until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have grown back.
Treated each week without any breaks, the nail infection should clear after 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.
After every three months of antifungal nail treatment, continue the treatment if the fungal nail infection is improving, and talk to your doctor if the infection is the same or has worsened.
Loceryl Nail Lacquer Instructions
The affected nail should be filed down as much as possible and cleaned with a swab to remove any grease.
Dip the applicator into the bottle of Loceryl nail lacquer, making sure not to wipe the lacquer off on the edge of the bottle before use.
Apply the antifungal nail treatment evenly on the entire affected nail with the provided applicator, once per week.
Allow the gel to dry for approximately 3 minutes before cleaning the applicator with the swab used before to clean the nails.
Be careful to not use the same nail file for both your infected and healthy nails, and avoid using artificial nails and nail varnish during the antifungal nail treatment.
When repeating the application process, remove the old lacquer and any nail varnish, and file the nail again if needed.

At Pharmica, we offer a generic Amorolfine Medicated Nail Lacquer treatment, which is essentially the same antifungal nail lacquer treatment, with the generic medicine sold at a fraction of the cost but medically equivalent in its efficacy, quality, and strength.
