I’ve suffered with severe outbreaks of cold sores for years and Aciclovir is the only thing that’s has helped. Read the instructions as like anything they aren’t good for you taken long term.
I personally only take 3 for one or two days at a time as that seems to stop the cold sore in its tracks, and heals really quickly.
