I’ve suffered with regular outbreaks of cold sores and was advised to take Aciclovir tablets as a preventative treatment. They have worked so well. Even on the rare occasion that I may still get one, Aciclovir helps enormously, the cold sore is nowhere near as angry, big or sore and heals within a couple of days.
