After reviewing the mechanism of action of topical antifungals I chose this one. It worked on my toe nail when other over-the-counter antifungal creams had not. I'm an expert in pharmaceutical chemistry. The formulation as a solution in varnish is also very useful. The need for filing and cleaning may result in poor compliance but if one makes the effort this product works well. Slight discolouration of the nail is evident but this is mostly due to coloured materials from socks/dirt rubbing into the clear varnish. It soon washes/peels or is cut off. The product would be better in a coloured varnish giving a visual clue when to reapply and if the entire effected area had been effectively covered.
