What is Regaine for Women Extra Strength Foam?
Regaine for Women is the only foam treatment clinically proven to regrow hair in women with female pattern hair loss. The topical foam contains the active ingredient minoxidil, helped to regrow hair in 8 out of 10 women using the treatment.
How does it work?
Female pattern hair loss disrupts the hair growth cycle. The scalp follicles shrink, causing them to become inactive over time and each new cycle produces shorter and finer hairs.
Minoxidil present in Regaine is clinically proven to work at the roots to reactivate these hair follicles, helping to strengthen the existing hairs and to encourage growth. It increases the blood flow and nutrient supply, stimulating the follicles to increase their size and produce thicker and stronger hair. It also extends the growth phase of the hair growth cycle to increase the overall hair count.
How do I use it?
You should apply the foam to your scalp only and not more than once a day. It is best to use it at night before bed, so the foam can work while you sleep.
- Use half a capful of foam on a dry scalp
- Apply to the affected area of the head and massage in gently
- Wash hands thoroughly after use
- Leave the foam to dry
You must continue using the treatment even if you see your hair beginning to grow. If you stop the treatment, the benefits will be lost.
How long does it take to work?
You may notice that you start to shed hair about 2-6 weeks into the treatment. This means that the Regaine is working and getting ready to regrow stronger hair. The shedding should not last more than 2 weeks and you can start to see results in just 12 weeks.
How effective is Regaine for Women?
Regaine for Women is the only clinically-proven hair regrowth product to show results in more than 80% of women using the treatment. It can start to show results after just 12 weeks, but for some women, it may take up to 24 weeks to see regrowth.
Is Regaine for Women right for me?
It is used to treat genetic female pattern hair loss, which runs in families. It will not effective for women that have been losing hair for years or have large areas of baldness.
How is Regaine for Women different from the one for men?
Regaine for Men is targeted and labelled specifically for men to use twice a day while Regaine for Women is to be used once a day and targeted for women use only.
What are the side effects of Regaine for Women?
