It's increasingly difficult to get my GP to prescribe this medication for a condition I've had for over 30 years. When I get a viral outbreak I need to have Acyclovir ASAP and the doctor refuses to prescribe me extra for a future outbreak. Consequently by the time I've noticed symptoms and finally get through to a doctor and convince them that I do in fact need this medication, then wait for the pharmacist to receive the order which is sometimes the next day. So by the time I'm on the medication the outbreak is in full swing and takes longer to clear up. Thankfully Pharmica allows me to order again after my initial assessment and I was able to get a decent amount in stock. Yes it's more than a prescription cost, but in this instance I need the meds in without having to jump through loads of hoops every time I need it. Thanks Parmica!
