I am a 47 year old man who was a bit miffed that my feet started to go downhill about 4-5 years ago.

In the last 4 years I have tried a variety of lotions and potions as I had 6 fungal toe nail infections, the worst being my left big toe. I was recommended Canesten Clotrimazole 2 External Cream by a friend who'd used this cream on his thumb nail.

Since starting using the cream about 5 weeks ago, at least once a day on ALL of my toe nails, 3 are pretty much completely recovered. The worst ones are a lot better and my good toe nails look so much nicer with better colour and clarity. I also use it on a small patch of psoriasis on my leg and it's cleared that up too; just a bit of light scar left that I'm still treating.

If you want a miracle overnight cure then this isn't it but, if you're realistic, and can be disciplined to apply this cream daily, it works. Based on my current timeline, I think it will take another 2-3 months to fully sort my big toe out but but I now have new good growth on it (i only have half a nail) and the infection is 80% less noticeable visually after just 6 weeks.

I used to have nice looking feet and I'm getting them back again so I'm very happy. I use this cream as soon as I wake up for an hour before my shower, or at night watching TV, and I use Palmers Foot Magic Cocoa Butter EVERY night on the rest of my feet. I'm on my 3rd tube so my foot care is costing me about £10 every 3 weeks and it's completely worth it. Even after all this is healed, I plan on still using it to keep my nails in good health. You just have to stick with it. 2 of my nails healed after 2 weeks so it all depends on the severity of the infection.
