This medication was prescribed for me initially by my GP and a specialist urologist, in conjunction with other medication, both for the effective treatment of a prostrate issue. The funding body for NHS in England and Wales (NICE) decided that it was no longer funding this medication on the grounds of low efficacy. Note that this was a decision arrived at by accountants applying a red line on a piece of paper. I now have to obtain the drug privately. I do, because it works.
