What is Floradix Liquid Iron Formula and when is it used?
Floradix liquid iron formula is a daily supplement containing a range of vitamins and minerals, including iron, which can help to reduce tiredness and fatigue. It’s suitable for all patients over the age of 3 years, it’s dairy free, lactose free and vegetarian.
What causes fatigue?
Fatigue can be caused by many individual factors, and sometimes my multiple at a time. Some of these factors may include:
- Excess physical activity
- Lack of physical activity
- Lack of sleep
- Unhealthy eating habits
- Jet lag
- Medications, such as antihistamines, cough medicines
- Use of alcohol or drugs
What is the recommended dosage of this treatment?
Floradix is best taken on an empty stomach, half an hour before meals. The dosage of Floradix will vary depending on age:
- Patients over 12 - 10ml twice per day
- Patients aged 6 - 12 - 10ml once per day
- Patients aged 3 - 5 - 5ml once per day
When should Floradix Liquid Iron Formula not be used?
Floradix should not be used by patients under the age of 3. It should not be used if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
How should I store Floradix Liquid Iron Formula?
Floradix Liquid Iron Formula should be stored in a dry, cool environment that does not exceed 25°C.
